Our First Black Belt

Last month, we celebrated a huge milestone: our first black belt promotion.

This one was made special with the presence of our coach, Brandon Mccaghren, who awarded us our own black belts a few years back.

To the average person, getting a black belt in jiu jitsu doesn’t hit as hard unless you really know what it takes. It’s years of experience, wear and tear on your body, and when it finally happens, you realize there is still so much more to learn.

For us as a gym, a first black belt is more than a personal achievement. It's a marker of where the school is headed. It means the culture we've built is producing the results we set out to create when we opened our doors.

We're proud of the work it took to get here, and even more excited about what it means for everyone still climbing the belt ranks behind them. This is just the beginning.

If you've ever thought about starting your jiu jitsu journey, there's no better time than now. Come see what we're building.
